Ward was a born in MonroeLouisianaonApril 151976. Ward attended Monroe Christian School, a Christian private school for children. Ward went to Ouachita parish high school for her secondary education. She then moved to River Oaks High School the summer after her senior year. Following graduation, she briefly attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward dropped out at 13 and moved in New York so that she could begin modeling. Several years later she decided to also try her hand at acting. The first time she appeared on stage was in an uncredited part in 1970's soap opera All My Children, and she was later cast in a teen drama on NBC Prime-Time Malibu Shores. Late in 1996, Ward was cast as Meg Cummings on Sunset Beach. The year 1999 saw Ward begin her film career playing Brittany Foster, the psychotic Brittany Foster of the erotic film The In Crowd. In theaters the film was not a success, but it did have some success in both DVD and cable. Following the film, Ward was in a cameo part in the cult film Shallow Hal. Other credits for her acting include several direct-to DVD films as well as appearances in television series, such as Friends. She was the main part of the cast of ABC Family's drama show Make It or Break It for the first two seasons in 2009. In 2009, she landed the part Chloe Kmet as the mother of a teen gymna. She was married to David C. Robinson, a producer. They had a child named Cameron.
